Our editorial approach
The Sable Review was founded on the principle that consumers deserve clear, accurate and non-sensational information about food supplements. Our editorial team includes contributors with backgrounds in nutrition science, consumer advocacy and health journalism. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, and our scorecard methodology is applied consistently to every product we assess.
How we review products
Each review begins with a detailed examination of the product's ingredient declaration, cross-referenced against the EFSA nutrient function claims register. We assess ingredient transparency, compliance with food supplement regulations, label accuracy and the overall fit of the product within a realistic everyday lifestyle. We do not make medical claims and we do not evaluate products as medicines.
Editorial independence and affiliate disclosure
